Tilari falls It was a Saturday, and I just couldn’t wait to get out on a long ride with my friends and bike – the excitement is always different when you do something like that. My friend and I spontaneously planned to go for a bike trip this weekend to see tilari waterfalls near Belgaum as I also didn’t see many waterfalls this season. Thus, we visited lovely tilari falls in Belgaum– The Tilari Waterfalls are stunning. I’ve decided to start writing a blog and share some of my experiences in the hopes that it will make it much simpler for other people to visit either of these locations.
Waterfall at Tilari,
Maharashtra We started off from Gogte college near RPD area at 10:00 am in the morning. As we went to Tilari Waterfalls near belgaum in the Tilari Ghats. Since the roads from Jamboti to the base of the Tilari Ghat are in poor condition, getting there took us about an hour and a half to two hours. On the other hand, the roads in the tilari falls are fantastic. As we made our way up the ghats, it began to pour heavily, and the mist significantly reduced our visibility; as a result, we were forced to travel more slowly.
If you climb all the way to the top of the ghat, you will start to see a few buildings and small settlements. Continue moving forward until you reach the Tilari junction, and make a right turn at that point; this tilari falls will lead you to the waterfall. Please don’t make the same mistake that we did when we asked two of the locals for directions; they pointed us in the wrong direction.
Since this waterfall is located in a forest preserve, it serves as a checkpoint. The guard stated I couldn’t enter since the building was closed.
He agreed.
Still, I had to pay an entry charge of Rs.100. Don’t worry about the walk – it’s simply 5-10 min.
This place is simply soothing to the eyes – the sound of gushing water into a natural pond with a shade of turquoise. We first went to the top of the waterfall (this waterfall is not much high) and clicked a few pictures.
It’s so refreshing in itself, to sit here and just relax for a few. We tilari falls then went to the foot of the waterfall. The beauty of the location is beyond description; the trip here was well worth the extra hour and a half it took to get there.
Don’t feel
like walking around too much, this is the perfect destination for you. You can visit with your friends and family, have a dip and relax by the waterfall. Since the water comes from behind the dam, this waterfall is always active and has a constant flow, even during the winter months. If you and your loved ones ever decide to come to this location, we kindly ask that you do not bring any alcoholic beverages with you and that you do not litter.
